There are two ranges available in the pistol area. One of the ranges is reserved for Leni-Lenape pistol club only. The “plinking range” is available for all gun club members. If you desire to also use the Leni-Lenape Lane, please inquire about joining their pistol club.
General Range Rules
The pistol range hours are 8am-Dusk, with the exception of during Leni-Lenape Pistol events. Please see their events to determine if the range will be closed during that time. Please note: The pistol range has video surveillance. By using the range, you consent to being filmed and any actions you take can result in loss of privileges or membership.
- Membership cards must be displayed publicly at all times.
- Automatic fire or simulated automatic fire (bump stocks, forced reset triggers) firearms are not allowed on the range at any time.
- Alcohol, smoking, or other drugs are not permitted on the range at any time.
- The maximum caliber allowed on the range is .45. Rifle calibers in any pistol are not allowed at any time. Calibers larger than .45 and rifle calibers are to be used on the rifle range only.
- Any firearm not in use must have the action open with the magazine detached, with an empty chamber indicator in the chamber.
- All barrels of uncased pistols must be pointed down range at all times.
- Shooting shall not take place in front of the firing line.
- Only paper targets are to be used in the frames at 7, 15, 21, 25, & 50 yards, No Bottles, No Cans, No Plastic Containers, Etc.
- Crossfire into other lanes is strictly prohibited.
- Remove all targets, clean up brass and other trash, and dispose or remove them from the range before leaving.
- Eye and Ear protection is required for all shooters and spectators. This includes on the firing line and in the vicinity of the range.
- At no time should the barrel of the pistol be held or pointed above the line of sight to the target.
- Do not handle any pistol at any time while someone is down range. There are range safety lights installed on the range and must be turned on before going down range. While these lights are on, no firearm can be handled.
- The Plate Target positions are set up for your use with self-resetting targets. The distance is the recommended 15 yard minimum.
